The Medical Center renovated an existing Radiation Therapy Treatment Room in order to facilitate the installation of a new linear accelerator. The existing control room was also renovated to accommodate the new equipment, and extensive lead shielding was installed as radiation protection for the surrounding areas. Warm colors and back-lit floral murals were utilized to achieve a soothing atmosphere for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
